Exceptional Last Meeting!

Hello Gents,

We've just had our best meet-up to date! A big, thank you to those who have joined us and contributed to make the morning memorable. If you were not available, no problem. Rest assured we have more enlightening events lined up in the future!

A huge round of applause for the amazing Habib Abbas, who took time to share his wisdom and life experiences with us.

To summarize, here are a few key takeaways from Habib's insightful talk:

1. Finding a Mentor: Habib strongly emphasized surrounding ourselves with the right people - they impart knowledge and significantly save our time and efforts.

2. Rejecting Victim Mentality: Despite being a first-generation immigrant, Habib built his businesses without any handouts. In this country, there is an abundance of opportunity for determined individuals.

3. Discovering Motivation: Habib’s driving force is his desired legacy, taking care of his family and attaining freedom. What keeps you moving every day?

4. Discarding the Ego: Humility truly is a virtue of the successful. As Habib reminded us, even after achieving success, it's vital to stay humble and constantly serve others.

5. Taking the Plunge: Don’t overthink, select your goals, and work earnestly towards them.

6. Recognizing Your Audience: An integral aspect of being successful in business or service is understanding your target audience's wants.

7. Start small: Planning on starting a business? Habib's advice - keep it small, accumulate your wins and let your success gradually build momentum. Alternatively, you could also look at revitalizing a struggling business.

We sincerely hope to have the pleasure of enjoying your company during our upcoming meet-ups! Let us keep each other accountable in our journey of personal growth and achievement.

Stay Excellent

Rolando Almanzar

Born in the Bronx and raised in Orlando, the author grew up in a financially struggling but loving household led by his mother and grandmother. In his teens, he lost direction—falling into bad influences, identity struggles, and substance abuse—largely due to the absence of a strong male role model. This changed in his mid-20s when he met a mentor who redefined masculinity and personal growth for him. By his 30s, though successful, he still longed for a deeper brotherhood that combined personal development, business, mindset, and fitness. To fill that gap, he co-founded The Association of Excellence, a community where men hold each other accountable and strive for greatness—without gimmicks.
