Accountability

Gentlemen!

Hope you all had an invigorating, productive, or perhaps simply fun-filled weekend! Recently, I've been experiencing considerable progression on my health journey. While many factors contribute to this - tracking my macros, consistency at the gym, daily intake of vitamins, intentionality with sleep, and even hiring an exceptional trainer named Josh the Trainer - The glue holding it all together ACCOUNTABILITY!!

Weekly progress report submissions have become a meaningful part of my regimen, thanks to Josh. We also have weekly calls to review my efforts, confront any struggles, and make necessary adjustments. It's only been a month; I understand I have a long road ahead, but damn have I been making strides and feel, stronger, healthier and more empowered than ever before!

Accountability is an incredible motivator; it keeps us engaged, energized, and for a person like me who thrives on competition, it helps me stay on task. It's challenging, hell yes, but that's where its power lies. Every time I prepare to check in with my accountability partners, I try to be well-prepared and ready to report on my progress. It forces me to stay on top of my shit. It’s clear to me that accountability partners play a crucial role in many aspects of my life. My wife is my accountability partner when it comes to our child, my coworkers push me to be a top performer, and my mentors challenge me to continue growing and improving day by day.

I urge you all to find your own accountability partners! If you are wondering where to start, continue attending our quarterly Men’s Events. Here, you will find yourself surrounded by robust, strong capable men, ready and willing to hold you accountable every day!

Keep going, gents!

Stay Excellent

Born in the Bronx and raised in Orlando, the author grew up in a financially struggling but loving household led by his mother and grandmother. In his teens, he lost direction—falling into bad influences, identity struggles, and substance abuse—largely due to the absence of a strong male role model. This changed in his mid-20s when he met a mentor who redefined masculinity and personal growth for him. By his 30s, though successful, he still longed for a deeper brotherhood that combined personal development, business, mindset, and fitness. To fill that gap, he co-founded The Association of Excellence, a community where men hold each other accountable and strive for greatness—without gimmicks.
